Club Membership Application

A $25 Membership Application Fee (non-refundable) is invoiced after your application is received. You can pay the invoice with Zelle, PayPal or a check (mailed USPS) depending on your preference. Your application will be reviewed when payment has been received. You will receive an email notification as to whether your Club Membership has been approved or not approved. Membership is open to all individuals regardless of race, gender, age (18+), or religion providing you have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record. This means your motor vehicle report (MVR) doesn’t show any at-fault accidents, not more than one moving violation, and no serious driving-related criminal convictions (like a DUI) over a set period of time—usually three to five years.

Reliable Rider needs a driverless taxi service like Robo Taxi or Waymo available to run its business operations. Check here periodically for updates on where these services are available.

The Reliable Rider Club Activates when the required membership is full (20 or 40 members) and the Club’s Full Self-Driving (FSD) Vehicle is available for use. Fourteen days before the club activates you will receive an email requesting that you verify that you want to activate or don’t want to activate your club membership. If you activate your home charging station installation appointment will be scheduled. You will be invoiced for your home wall connector and electrician installation (non-refundable). You will also be invoiced for your share of the club vehicle cost and FSD software subscription. A prorated refund is provided upon membership cancellation or termination.

In the near future, technology will do all the driving for Reliable Rider Club Members (e.g. Robo Taxi, Waymo).
